Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you’re looking for gluten-free chocolate chip cookie recipe that is tasty and tender, look no further! Everyone will love these and they are ready in just 55 minutes

  Total Time: 55 Min 

  Yield: Serves 12

Ingredients:

  • 10 g ( 8.5 tblsp) dairy-free margerine
  • 100 g ( 8 tblsp) brown sugar
  • 100 g ( 8 tblsp) caster sugar
  • 125 g ( 10 tblsp ) gluten free plain flour
  • 1/8 tsp Cape Crystal xanthan gum


  • 55 g ( 4 tblsp ) cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 50 g ( 4 tblsp) dark chocolate, chopped
  • 13 g (1 tblsp) almond milk

How to Make It:

Step 1:

 

Combine the sugar and margarine in a mixing bowl until it becomes  like cream.

Step 2:

 

Sift in the flour, baking powder, salt, xanthan gum and cocoa. Use your fingers to incorporate the flour into the wet ingredients. 

Step 3:

 

Add a tbsp almond milk and the chocolate chips (or pieces) and mix into the dough.

Step 4:

 

Using your floured hands, make small balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Leave space, as the dough will spread as it bakes.

Step 5:

 

Bake in the oven at 190 C (375 F) for ten minutes than allow to cool on the tray before transferring to a wire rack.

Step 6:

Get ready to bite into one of the tastiest chocolate chip cookies. And it is completely gluten free, too.
